Private Data Policy GYLI is first and always a caring community of individuals. We gather information about our student an adult participants to make our programs better and our community stronger. As we stand in a GYLI circle on the Amistad, in New Mexico or in Costa Rica, we are full human beings sharing a moment in time, not a collection of data on a website. We at GYLI fully recognize the potential problems of collecting and storing information about our participants. Our policy is to NEVER sell, share, or publish this private data. We will take EVERY reasonable step to secure our website, and are glad to answer any questions you may have at any time. We follow the best practices in all of our programming, as with our website. Website Use Policy All users of the GYLI website are to follow those same practices when posting photos, posting to the forum of otherwise using the site. Students and faculty will have limited access to information (name and email address). Participants must use this information for GYLI purposes only. Users agree to the fundamental practices in all GYLI institutes-respect for pluralism, and honesty of speech and action. No derogatory or offensive language should be used as part of the forums or postings. If individuals violate these privacy and website use policies, they will no longer be given access to the GYLI site. |
