She was involved in interfaith initiatives throughout college, including work with the Macalester Multifaith Council and the Joint Religious Legislative Coalition of Minnesota, and is now working as the research assistant on a project investigating models for supporting multifaith programs at public universities. She participated in all three years of GYLI in high school and returned a couple of years later as an intern for a Year 2 program in New Mexico.
