
DIEGO DURAN-MEDINA
EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Diego comes to GYLI after serving 6 years as the Director of Service Learning at Shorecrest Preparatory School in St. Petersburg, FL, where he also co-founded the Center for Service Learning Leadership (CSLL). He has also worked as a national consultant with LeadServe Consulting, helping schools develop service-learning curricula and programming in global education. He is guided by the principles of reciprocal service relationships, deep reflection and helping young people find purpose.

ERIN ENGLISH
DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS
Erin has 20 years of experience in independent school education, working to push students out of their comfort zones. She is guided by the principle that deep learning occurs when we are vulnerable, engaged in our work, and open to critical conversations.

INGRID VALDEZ SUAREZ
INTERNATIONAL PROGRAM COORDINATOR
Originally from Mexico, Ingrid Valdez came to the United States looking for more adventure and experiences in her life. During her time at GYLI, she has coordinated multiple programs in New Mexico and Costa Rica, as well as co-led many school based workshops at public and private schools.

ROXANNE KRUGER
PROGRAM COORDINATOR
Roxanne has taught in both private and public schools in Milwaukee, DC, Mexico, and Honduras. She has traveled throughout Central and South America, Europe, Asia, and the Middle East.
