Roxanne Kruger
Roxanne joined the GYLI community in 2019. She holds a Master’s degree in Latin American Studies from American University and a Bachelor’s degree from Carthage College where she studied Spanish, Public Relations, and Dance. Roxanne has taught English in Mexico and Honduras and has traveled to countries in Central and South America, Europe, Asia, and the Middle East. Throughout high school and college she was able to participate in many experiential learning trips that in turn inspired her to pursue her degrees as well as a profession that allows others to find growth through exposure to new countries, cultures, and ideas. She’s excited to apply her passion for education and travel as a Program Coordinator with the Stuart Center for Global Leadership and the Global Youth Leadership Institute. She believes that the unique programs offered through GYLI enhance a student’s confidence, allowing them to reflect on their own passions and leadership capabilities.
