Erica is a pre-business student at the University of Wisconsin-Madison hoping to major in Marketing and Management. On campus she is involved in Women in Business, the American Marketing Association, and Tawi UW. In July 2012, Erica participated in the American Youth Leadership Program (AYLP) through GYLI. This program allowed Erica to travel to Costa Rica and Panama to learn more about collaborative leadership and inspired her involvement in Tawi, an organization that fosters experiential learning focused on sustainability and empowerment of global communities. Erica’s meaningful experience on AYLP leaves her excited to further develop her leadership skills and to work with GYLI in a new role.
