SEL Programing
SEL programming is based on the understanding that the best learning emerges in the context of supportive relationships that make learning challenging, engaging and meaningful (CASEL, 2015).
A short-term goal of SEL programs is to, promote the Social and Emotional Learning Core Competencies through students’:
- Self-awareness
- Self-management
- Social awareness
- Relationship Skills
- Responsible decision making skills
